Delete your Playwich account

You can delete your Playwich account at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Play and Apple both require this page so you can start the process even if the app is not on your phone.

Delete in the app

Open Playwich and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Tap Delete account and confirm twice.

That signs you out and removes the account. Super admins cannot delete from the app — email us instead.

Delete without the app

Email support@playwich.com from the address on the account. Write that you want the account deleted and include the name you play under if you remember it. We will verify it is you and then run the same deletion as the in-app button.

We do not offer a web form that deletes an account from a browser. The in-app button and a verified email to support are the two ways in, so a stranger cannot name your address and wipe you.

What we delete

Your sign-in (email and password) and the profile we show other players: name, email, birthday, ratings display, coins, and device push tokens.
Lists you own (friends and people you blocked), club join requests, feedback you sent, and unused invite tokens.
Your own post-match survey responses.
Upcoming games you host. We cancel those so the other players are not left waiting. If you had claimed someone else's open game, we take you off it. We do not charge coins for leaving because of deletion.

What we keep, without your name

Other people played those matches too. Removing you from history would break their results, ratings, and fair-play records. We keep the underlying records and remove your name from them. Other members see Former member in its place:

Past and locked matches, including scores and who played.
Chat messages you already sent. The text stays; the sender name does not.
Rating history used to compute other players' Playwich ratings. You are removed from club leaderboards.
Reports about or from you, so a deletion cannot erase a safety record. Email addresses on those reports are stripped when they are yours.

How long it takes

In the app, the account is disabled first so a still-open session cannot write you back, then the data above is processed, then sign-in is removed. That usually finishes before you are signed out. An email request is handled by a person and typically within a few days.
